Sahen Skinner - Burandt’s Backcountry Adventure

Sahen grew up in western Wyoming in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Even as a small kid he was fascinated with anything that was loud and fast. It didn’t matter what it was, from go karts to monster trucks, he wanted one. At the age of 5 The first snowmobile he had was a Yamaha Sno Scoot.

He grew up riding with his Dad and oldest brother Nick in some of the gnarliest terrain Wyoming had to offer. After a few years on the RMSHA racing circuit he realized his love for snowmobiling was in the back country where the rules no longer applied with endless possibilities!

At the age or 19 he started his career as a professional rider alongside Chris Burandt. Since the fall of 2009 he has been riding with Burandt pretty much 7 days a week all winter long. Burandt has been shaping and molding him into an ambassador of the steep and deep. Teaching Sahen all of his secrets he has learned over the years. Sahen will be pulling that starter rope every day until he can no more be helping others to see the sport as he does. Starting the 11/12 season Sahen will have his own tours still under Burandt but will be the lead gunner this time!!
